Event Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, event changes and payment issues are handled for tickets and registrations purchased for events offered or managed by Sphere Rays.
Effective and last updated: 1 Feb 2026Once a ticket or event registration has been successfully booked or confirmed, Sphere Rays does not provide a refund for the ticket price, taxes, convenience fees, processing fees or any other amount paid, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to event tickets and registrations purchased directly from Sphere Rays or through an authorised registration or payment platform used for a Sphere Rays event. Event-specific terms shown during booking also apply. If an event-specific term conflicts with this policy, the term communicated for that event will govern to the extent permitted by law.
2. No refunds after booking
A booking is treated as confirmed when a confirmation page, ticket, registration number, QR code, email, WhatsApp message or other confirmation is issued after successful payment.
No refund will be issued after confirmation, including in cases of:
- Change of mind or accidental selection of an event, date, category, ticket type or quantity.
- Schedule conflicts, travel disruption, illness, personal emergencies or inability to attend.
- Late arrival, non-attendance or failure to complete entry or check-in requirements.
- Incorrect attendee details supplied during booking.
- Denial of entry caused by failure to meet eligibility, identification, safety or event-conduct requirements.
- Unused tickets, partially attended events or dissatisfaction based on personal expectations.
3. Event changes, postponement or cancellation
Event organisers may change the date, time, venue, route, schedule, speakers, performers, activities or other programme details when operational, safety or regulatory circumstances require it. Such changes do not automatically create a right to a refund.
If an event is postponed or cancelled by the organiser, Sphere Rays or the organiser will communicate the available next steps. Any rescheduling, credit or refund will be offered only when expressly announced for that event and will be subject to the stated process, deadlines and applicable law.
4. Failed, pending or duplicate payments
If money is debited but no booking confirmation is issued, the transaction is not treated as a confirmed ticket. Payment reversals may be processed automatically by the bank, card network, UPI provider or payment gateway according to their timelines.
For an unconfirmed or apparently duplicate transaction, contact Sphere Rays promptly with the event name, transaction reference and booking details so the payment status can be checked. This review does not change the no-refund rule for a successfully confirmed ticket.
5. Ticket transfers and corrections
Tickets are transferable or attendee details may be corrected only when the rules for the specific event expressly allow it. Approval, deadlines, fees and verification requirements are determined by the event organiser. A transfer or correction request does not create a right to a cash refund.
6. Payment disputes
Please contact Sphere Rays before raising a payment dispute so the booking and transaction can be reviewed. If you believe a payment was unauthorised, notify your bank or payment provider immediately and contact us with the relevant non-sensitive transaction details.
7. Applicable rights and policy updates
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer right that cannot legally be waived. Sphere Rays may update this policy when its event operations, payment processes or legal obligations change. The version displayed on this page at the time of booking will apply unless applicable law requires otherwise.
